The Triumph of Justice over Rebellion

Oil on canvas 34"x60" A reconstruction of a painting by Giambattista Ponchino in Il Palazzo Ducale in Venice, Italy. It happens to be in the inquisitor's room and was chosen by actor/playwright Greg Bodine as a prop for his show Poe, Times Two. He asked me to reproduce this painting, but because I could not find a sufficient reference, I had to reconstruct it using my own models and imagination.
